NEW YORK -- Miguel Montero's sacrifice fly in the top of the 10th scored Justin Upton and led the D-backs to a come-from-behind 5-4 win over the Mets on Thursday afternoon at Shea Stadium.
The D-backs trailed, 4-0, as Johan Santana kept them off the board through seven innings.
In the eighth, though, the D-backs scored a pair of runs on Mark Reynolds' two-out triple, and then in the ninth, Arizona touched closer Billy Wagner for another pair of runs to tie things up.
The Mets had chances to win it in the bottom of the ninth, but diving plays by third baseman Augie Ojeda and shortstop Stephen Drew helped keep them from scoring.
Upton greeted Aaron Heilman with a double down the left-field line to start the 10th and after a sacrifice bunt moved him to third, Upton came home on Montero's fly to right.
D-backs closer Brandon Lyon (2-1) worked the final two frames to pick up the win and extend his scoreless-innings streak to 25.
