Jim Callis, respected baseball write. About a month ago, was on KC radio station. The radio guy told him the Royals were 5 games above .500 since May 15 or something like that...he had no idea. Way to pay attention to baseball there, Jim.

For next year, not really. Also, going on a lot of message boards, I see people overlooking the reds, saying that they are one of the worst teams in the majors. Well, they are clearly not anymore. If Jerry Narron was fired earlier, the reds would be like 4 or 3 games out now. The reds have been a winning ball club since Mckannin took over
