Comcast Sportsnet Chicago reports that the Cubs have acquired Rich Harden from the Athletics in a six-player deal. The Cubs will reportedly also get Chad Guadin from the A's in exchange for RHP Sean Gallagher, outfielder Matt Murton, infielder Eric Patterson and catcher Josh Donaldson. If Harden can stay healthy, and that's a huge "if," the deal fills the Cubs' biggest need on the heels of Milwaukee signing C.C. Sabathia earlier this week. The Cubs just have to hope that Harden stays healthy. We all know that when he is healthy, he's one of the best pitchers in baseball. www.rotoworld.com
