Wow! That might be a good idea if they trade the right person for him. He's a free agent, you don't have to trade anything for him.. And I think it was a good pick up, the Yankees desperately need someone who can hit left-handed pitching, and they got someone.

Setting him up in match-up to his advantage might bring his confidence back. He was complaining about the rough media in Seattle, though I don't think New York will demand much from a bench player.

I like the pick up, but I have heard many negative comments about it. What's there to be negative about? Its not like he cost a lot of money, and we only had to send down Justin Christian..he hits righties good, something the rest of the team can't do, and hit 50 homers one year..

He strikesout almost as much as he hits, we already have a bunch of 1B and Justian Christian has been beastin up here in the majors, he did pretty well tonight as a matter of fact.
