Some of the franchises have absurdly obvious answers yet they HAVE to give the eight options or whatever...

Where Castillo, where Josh Beckett, where Gary Sheffield, Alou, Kevin Brown? Marlins don't have many choices because of ESPN being clueless.

Cards: Stan Musial Reds: Johnny Bench White Sox: Luke Appling Giants: Willie Mays Blue Jays: Roberto Alomar Astros: Jeff Bagwell Expos: Andre Dawson Cubs: Ernie Banks Brewers: Robin Yount D'backs: Randy Johnson Padres: Tony Gwynn Marlins: Mike Lowell Royals: George Brett Pirates: Roberto Clemente Rays: Carl Crawford Angels: Nolan Ryan Twins: Walter Johnson (Kirby Puckett if just the Twins) Indians: Bob Feller Mariners: Ken Griffey Jr Mets: Tom Seaver Rockies: Todd Helton A's: Rickie Henderson Orioles: Cal Ripken Jr Tigers: Ty Cobb Rangers: Ivan Rodriguez Braves: Hank Aaron Phillies: Mike Schmidt Red Sox: Ted Williams Yankees: Babe Ruth Dodgers: Duke Snider
Dodgers are tough. The choices are all excellent and it's hard to choose one. It'd be Koufax if the Dodgers were smart and just let him pitch 6 innings instead of making him pitch a CG after his injury.
A's have a lot of great players as well but I picked Rickey Henderson since, as Bill James said, if you split him in half you have two Hall of Famers.

It was a different game back then. If a pitcher didn't go 9 innings they'd walk off the field with their heads down in shame.

It was a different game back then. If a pitcher didn't go 9 innings they'd walk off the field with their heads down in shame. I know that but if they weren't so adamant he pitch complete games, his career would have lasted longer. BTW, Santana for the Twins? He's a good pitcher but how can you pick Santana over Walter Johnson or Kirby Puckett?

When it comes to choosing between pitchers and hitters I tended to go with the pitcher, that's why I chose him over Puckett. As for choosing him over Johnson, Johan's one of the most dominating pitchers of our time and although Johnson may be one of the most dominating pitchers ever, I still gave it to Santana cause I believe he's one of the best LHPs ever to pitch along with guys like Koufax, Randy Johnson, Warren Spahn, Lefty Grove, and Tom Glavine. Elite LHPs are more rare than elite RHPs. Anyways, it's just my opinion.

How can you pick a guy who threw a WS?
How can you pick a juicer over Ernie Banks or even Ferguson Jenkins?

Yes you did, Shoeless Joe Jackson threw the WS along with several other White Sox. Sosa juiced. Everyone knows it. Even if he didn't, Ernie Banks was still a superior ball player.

He didn't play a flawless OF. He let a lot of balls drops that he should have caught. His excuse was he didn't make an error. Christy Mathewson even pointed it out when he was watching the game.
If you really think Sosa is better than Banks, you need help.
