Should Girardi get fired then? Joe Torre at least took them to the playoff every year since a century.

The fired of Torre was hilarious. This season really shown that getting a new manager won't fix their team problem of getting deep into the playoff.

If the Yankees doesn't make the playoffs, they should improve their grammar.

You try losing Hideki Matsui and Jorge Posada from your teams in one year...thats 100 rbi and 25 hr each...the guys left in the line up can't hit with runners in scoring position, aside from Damon, Abreu, and Nady.

Posada wasn't going to put up good numbers this year. Matsui has been injury prone the past two years. He's the Yankees' Moises Alou.

You have no idea how Jorge Posada would have been..I know he wouldn't have hit 30 homers like last year, but he would have had way more production than Jose Molina/Pudge Rodriguez.. Prone or not, Matsui is an awesome hitter, and at the beginning of the year he wasn't expected to be injured, he was expected to be in the line-up.
