I never thought much of him to begin with. His high BA was maintained by a high BABIP which in turn helped his OBP look better (he's still got horrible plate discipline) and his fielding looked good b/c of how many chances he got with Wang pitching. That said, he seems to have given up fielding and when that happens, it's very bad. What should happen with him? Bench him? Trade him?

I wouldn't mind the Reds getting him, but I know Cashman would put him at a very high price

Phillips can move to SS(his natural position), and someone like Jeff Keppinger or even Joey Votto could move to LF

With Larry Bowa gone, he hasn't been the same. He's just not trying very hard..he looks like he's given up...atleast Melky was sent to the minors today.
