Minnesota Twins (88-74) VS The Chicago White Sox (88-74)
Two very different teams. The Twins, are about executing the fundamentals, bunting and speed. The White Sox are more of a intimidate the pitcher with Right hander, left hander, right hander, left hander power in the middle of the lineup. Last week in Minnesota the Twins swept the Sox to take first place by a half a game and maintained it through the weekend and with a White Sox win Monday that made this tie breaker possible. In the Metradome the Sox could not out slug the Twins or even score runs. But on the Southside of Chicago, things are different, its cold, its wet, its grass. Running on wet grass is harder than that hard AstroTurf in Minneapolis. Bunts are notorious for going foul in Chicago. The way the jet streams swirl in US Cellular Field causes sure home runs to die and some pop up to go out. The HH Metradome is the White Sox house of horrors, but the Twins have a house of horrors of there own. US Cellular Field. At there last series there the Sox swept them in four lop-sided game. The White Sox hope to "blackout Blackburn" as the Twins hope "shank Danks" again.
