I bet management tells Dusty to not wear him out. Thats what they did this season. As far as Harang, Arroyo, and the other pitcher they bring in goes...........

I don't think it was a good move for a team that should be fairly young the next few years. I think you should be concerned about the young players (ie Votto, Hamilton, etc...) that they get off to a hot start or he might want to go with veterans...

the thing is, he might be forced to play them. Obviously, management can talk to him. And he did say that he was very impressed with the young players he now has. But at like 1B, Hatteberg is most likely going to be traded. And with Bruce, it really isn't Bakers decision. If no outfielder is traded, Bruce at the most will start on the bench. But, the reds GM doesn't want that, so he'll start in AAA. Overall, I'm fairly happy. He wasn't my 1st or 2nd pick, but he's better than any Reds manager in a long time.
