Can increasing you arm strength make you better at basketball or baseball? Im not sure what arm strength can help me with in either one i assume shooting range and how far i can hit the ball and throw it but im not totally sure.

Work on strengthening your legs. Cleans and squats are great for that.
You can jump higher, hit the ball harder, and throw harder from the mound.
Arm strength is good too but it's not as important as strong legs.

Hitting in baseball is all about your body movement in your swing.
