Great trade for the cubs IMO. Unloading Jones saves a ton of money!! Plus, Omar Infante should be great in Chicago

I don't think it was a good trade for the cubbies...jones was a good platoon outfielder. but the real pointless part was getting infante when they have a whole bunch of AAAA infielders in Theriot, Fontenot, Cedeno...and are still blocking E-Patterson.

i think this is a better trade for the cubs, although only a narrow victory...jones is old and overpayed
