The winter meetings is a great time for fans who get rumors, but not for team beat writers. Reds Cincy post beat writer C. Trent Rosencras says it's the most boring event. He walks around and waits for something to happen. Today, because he's a fun guy, he wore a pedometer to see how much he walked. Here is the update as of about a hour ago: 18,887 steps 10.41 miles

It sucks for reporters. You wait around only to hear the most ambiguous info and then have to translate it.
