Well, it's December 23, 2008 and the Tribe has signed Kerry Wood as their closer for the bullpen! They also traded Franklin Gutierrez to Seattle in a 3-way deal with the Mariners and Mets and picked relief pitcher Joe Smith from the Mets along with a young infielder from the Mariners. The Tribe needed to bolster that bad bullpen after last years awful performance. It looks like Wedge may move Jhonny Peralta to 3rd base because he's playing 3rd base in winter ball. Peralta just doesn't have enough range at the shortstop position. That would open up the shortstop spot for Asdrubal Cabrera and open up competition for the 2nd base position. Could Josh Barfield get back into the Tribe's plans for 2009 and get back in Wedge's good graces instead of his doghouse? There are a lot of question marks for the Tribe's starting pitching rotation for 2009. Obviously Cliff Lee and Fausto Carmona have spots 1 and 2 but after that it's wide open. Could Jeremy Sowers or Aaron Laffey win spots or could the Tribe make a trade or sign someone like Jon Garland? I can't wait till spring training to find out what happens! ;D Join me in talking about our 2009 Cleveland Indians! Remember one thing through it all even the hot stove league, Go Tribe!!!!!

To be honest, its going to be the White Sox and Indians battling for the division. Sorry Minnisota getting an outdoor stadium will cost you quite a few wins.
