So, am I the only one listening/watching this trainwreck? The pitching has been...well...interesting on both sides. Boston is winning 7-4 at the end of the 4th if that tells you anything. Karstens is looking ugly and Beckett has been giving stuff up too. It's turning into a slugfest. The Yanks and Sox are always entertaining...although less so while the Yankees are losing.  |

No, it's 7-4 Boston, top of the 6th. Two outs, Cano is on 3rd. Thompson is up to bat. ::biting nails:: The starting line up was all jacked up tonight. Damon and Posada are out. Matsui is still out. Scratch that...Thompson is out. Bottom of the 6th. Karstens was a nightmare. The poor rookie was knocked around.  Bruney isn't lookin' too bad, though. |

wow...98 mph after 102 pitches. Beckett has quite the arm. If he could just hang one slightly over the bag for ARod...
RBI for ARod!!! He got a single and Jeter score 7-5 Boston now. Beckett is coming out.
Okajima is coming in now. He's a friend of Matsui's. They were on the Giants together. Hopefully the Yanks got a good look at him last night.

Giambi strikes out. The Yankees are within 2 now, at least. Bottom of the 7th, still 2 innings to tag on some runs. Ack, I think these Yankees-Red Sox games age me like 10 years. |

Proctor is in now. I like him.  1 out Varitek gets a hit...I dislike him. ETA: I dislike any player that does anything against my team during a game. Nothing personal. I am saddened that Julio Lugo went to the Sox, although happy for him. He has talent and was stuck on a crappy team. He is finally getting his chance, I just wish it were a different team. |

That's my guess. He's a steady guy. I really like him. I am glad that he found his niche on the team. He's got some good stuff.
Figures that he walks Cora after I say that. Maybe if I say he sucks then he'll strike out Lugo.
