to the Yankees for:
RP Ramirez, Edwar 28 $400,000 Arb '10 84 84 9.1 0
Chicago gets another bullpen arm for its 2010 WS run. They also rid themselves of Miles $2.45 mil. Miles would ride the pine and might not have even made the roster.
Yanks get a nice starting pitching prospect in Samardzija, and take on the $2.45 mil salary.
