I wonder if they'll start Hughes in the beginning of the season.

Then more likely Hughes will be a bust then if you have save him for another year.

Karstens will be 5th starter...easy.
On a more funny issue, it looks like Pavano might start on opening day now!

I keep hearing he's MLB ready, give him the ball and test him. You don't wanna throw him out unprepared and have him pitch 33 games but you can't keep him in a display case.

No,it's going to be Moose or Pettite, and Pettite just suffered a very minor injury that might set him back, so it'll probably be Moose. On the 5th starter, it won't be Hughes, the Yankees have a few better options then him at this point. It'll either be Karstens or Rasner.

They said Pavano will start opening day. That a sign that Yankees rotation is somewhat in trouble.

It was before all this happened. It's just now people are realizing.

This is gonna hurt the Yanks at the start of the season because Wang is their go-to guy...I heard that either Pavano or Karstens is going to get the nod on Opening Day. Should be interesting....

I'll be Pavano from what I've heard. It's quite funny. The guy who was out for a year and a half is the healthiest pitcher ready for opening day.

Yeah I'm sure the Yankees already confirm that its Pavano. [sarcasm]Way to go Pavano, you deserve to be the Yankees opening day starter.[/sarcasm]
