Whats going to happen with your team in the Offseason
We lose Joe Crede if Scott Boras wants a lot of money for him Orlando Cabrera is gone if we sign Crede
We probably wont sign anybody big but if they think Clayton Richard or Lance Broadway are not ready to be 5th starters then maybe a John Garland like person could be good to sign. And a utility infielder who can bunt (Nick Punto or Jason Bartlett would make the most sense) since Pablo Ozuna is gone.

Hopefully Ned Colletti gets fired. That's all I care about.

I'd like to see the Mets let Delgado go and sign Mark Teixeira or let Dan Murphy start at 1B. I'd like to see Juan Rivera signed to play LF and i think that's possible since Omar likes re-acquiring guys he had with Montreal. I think Ayala will be re-signed if he keeps pitching well. If the Nationals do non-tender Chad Cordero (Bowden said they would awhile ago), Minaya will definitely sign him. If Wagner never pitches the rest of the year and has surgery in the off-season, I could see them signing K-Rod (though I wouldn't want them to). There's the small chance they could pursue Trevor Hoffman but it's 99.9% likely he stays in San Diego.

K-Rod wants like 4yr/$60M and he's not worth it. The Mets will sign Cordero if he's non-tendered. Whether or not he's the closer is another issue.

The closer's role isn't huge. The Indians got to Game 7 of the ALCS with Joe Borowski and the Tigers got to the WS with Todd Jones.
K-Rod isn't worth $15M. He's an injury waiting to happen. Despite his saves this year his other numbers are getting worse (Ks, BBs, Hits).

Whoever lands K-Rod will regret it in two or three years.

Any reliever making more than 10 million a year is over paid. There job is not worth that much and they can go down hill fast just like the Sox and Cliff Pollite as soon as they sign him long term he craps out it can happen to any reliever.

yea, but think, if the mets had k-rod this year instead of wagner, they'd be up on the phillies by 7 and 1/2 games, instead of 1 and 1/2 And if the Mets had Albert Pujols they'd be up more games over the Phillies. K-Rod would make them better but he's not worth the money. Their real weakness is from the 6th-8th innings. The Mets don't like Schoeneweis anymore. Heilman is done. Sanchez's fastball can't hit 90mph. Smith and Feliciano are one-out guys. So long as Wagner does not go under the knife, they won't sign a closer.

Hank said he'd do anything to get the Yankees winning again, like getting a veteran ace...CC Sabathia, anyone?
Also, Bobby Abreu's contract expires, as does Pudge Rodriguez.

Hank is all bark and no bite. Hal is the one with the real power.

Does anyone like Hank? He just seems like a person everyone really wants to hate, and I have to agree
