I'd say that Pavano will get 10 wins.
The question isn't whether he has the ability or not.
It's obviously all about if he's healthy.
He has very similar numbers to what Chris Carpenter had while in Toronto. I think that, like Carpenter did, he could bounce back very well after being injured last year.
I think a change of scenery may help him. The Yankees will want his contract off of their hands. They may find a desperate team near the end of ST give up some value for him.
It'd be a high-risk but high-reward move for a team to make.

i have to disagree
have to find a broken link somewhere in yankee town
Early on in the season Pavano will have elbow injuries, at first the yankees will think nothing of it and just have him sit out a few starts but then it will get worse and he will be put on the 15 day DL. When he comes off his stuff will be off promting the yankees to send him to the pen where he will work mop up and such trying to get his arm strength back. What ends up happening is with poor results the yankees give him a few more starts to see if he can turn it around but with even poorer results the yankees place him on the 60 day dl where he will sit with an elbow injury for the remainder of the season and playoffs, i predict he finishes with a record of 2-6 with a 5.88 E.R.A

Aside from injuries, do you think he has the ability to win 10-15 games?

Yeah, but I don't argue with him just to argue. If we agree on something, I won't push anything.
