Spring Training is a terrible indication of your team's success during the regular season.
There's a reason most players hate spring training. It's way too long. Why spend so much time dragging all-star players out there, risking injury for no reason?
Wins don't mean anything in spring training. Does anyone really think that Reds will win the World Series because they are having a good spring? I certainly don't.
The game scores are very skewed. Managers mix and match players unlike they would do in a normal game. Most managers set pitch limits, put position players out of position, and experiment with young players. I doubt that there is any pep talk before each game talking about how they need to win their game.

here are my following points about spring training(not that im in this anyway though)
1. the blue jays get more fans then actual season games (pro) 2. the games dont mean anything and standings are not even nessacary(con) 3. it should be called rookie camp( how often to regulars even play(con) 4. its a chance to see all the good teams in the regualr season lose and lose badly(pro) 5. its a chance to see rising minor league stars before they show up on your roster - making it easier for you to comprehnd them and not having you left scratching your head like WTF is this?(pro) 6. it is a good time for players to get themselves warmed up for the season - but come on do it for a week not a month(con) 7. its a good way to re-kindle rivalries before the season starts, just ask jimmy rollins(pro)
okay thats all i have just cause i dont want to think no more
