The SP don't cancel out. Humber isn't ready.

I'd have to learn more abiut Humber really.. Wang is a soilid #2/3 starter and melky can be a .300 hitter. Heilman has proven to be up and down, and Milledge has shown flashes of greatness. I'd really just need to learn more about Humber.

Jeeeeeeeeeeezuz peeps. Wang is a damn good pitcher. I'd be shocked if they took Milledge straight up for him in a trade.

wang isnt very good...i'm tellin u, teams like milledge, and the mets can get more for him Wang is a good #2. I think with good fielders behind him and no DH, he would do well in the NL. I'd have to learn more abiut Humber really.. Wang is a soilid #2/3 starter and melky can be a .300 hitter. Heilman has proven to be up and down, and Milledge has shown flashes of greatness. I'd really just need to learn more about Humber. Humber did not have a great season in AAA. Keep in mind though, the Mets had to switch their AAA affiliate. They're in the Pacific Coast League which is a hitter's league (Anderson Hernandez hit .300 to give you an idea). His biggest problems were giving up home runs and not letting it get to his head. He still finished with good K/BB stats and has a very good 12-6 curveball.

I wouldn't even consider that if I were the Yankees...Yankees would get ripped-off.

Right now I wouldn't do it. I'd have to wait for Humber to progress. Wang and Melky are legitamite major league players. Milledge has great potential incredible potential though. I'd just have to wait.

Melky Cabrera and Chien Ming Wang are 1st ballot Hall of Famers Atleast they are proven solid ballplayers, unlike what we are getting in return. The Yankees already have a ton of minor league pitching with great potential, and don't need a head case in Milledge.

The Yankees already have a ton of minor league pitching with great potential, and don't need a head case in Milledge. Who has great potential besides Hughes (who is overhyped) and Joba (who hasn't pitched enough pro innings)? Unless you consider the injury time bom/4th starter Ian Kennedy to have great potential. Milledge isn't a headcase. Willie can't manage a young, fiery guy like Milledge. He chastises all young players for anything they do while he lets veterans slack off. If the Yankees survived with Sheffield, they would have no problems with Milledge.
