I'm going with my man Jose Reyes. He is definitely one of the best shortstops in baseball right now (definitely the best in New York . Despite the injury concerns he had years ago, he has stayed healthy and been free of major injuries (only one this year was the banged up pinky). He has stole 154 bases in a league with great defensive catchers. The past 2 seasons he has exceeded 60. Not only is his speed improving, but so is his hitting. He finished with a .300 average and .354 OBP, a full 27 and 54 pt improvement over last year, respectively. He also has an impressive SLG with .487. He was 1 HR and 3 3B's of becoming the second player in history and first player in almost 50 years to achieve 20 doubles, 20 triples, 20 home runs, and 20 stolen bases. The last player to do that was Willie Mays in 1957. He has shown great promise with his speed and will definitely become more patient at the plate to improve his average and OBP. Not only does he put up great numbers, but he is a great influence in the clubhouse. He creates unique high-fives with his team mates and is always wearing a smile in the dugout. He is one his way to becoming a great player on and off the field and is one of the most exciting players to watch in baseball.

Reyes had 165 more ABs than Cano. That's why Cano looks like the better contact hitter.

You know what it's for.
