- bonds had a hall of fame type career before the juice, why not let him in? This is so dumb!! and this is why Mcgwire will not get in the hall of fame either! Bonds and Mcgwire both will not be inducted although they should definatley be at the top in hall of fame, they are and have been the best of their era's, steriods shrinks your nuts and adds muscle to your body - it does not effect the way you swing or how far the ball will go, this is all about bat speed - the stick you use and your technique, that being said no bonds will not be inducted into the hall of fame although he should be, he will be put on the blacklist next to players like Sosa, Palmeiro, Canseco, McGwire and Rose, for the players that were the best that didnt get into the hall of fame.

He'll get in.
I wouldn't put Barry in the same category as those players.

sosa played 2 seasons with a corked bat before he finally broke it and had a great career, will he get in? Sosa probably won't get in. He was never a good fielder. He was never particularly fast. He had a few good years where he hit a ton of homeruns, but still had pretty mediocre numbers in other categories. He was a good player, but with the corked bat situation, it'd be hard to vote him in.

Because I think Pete Rose will eventually get in. I think the decision will be, and should be, changed on Pete Rose.
What he did had nothing to do with his stats. It was an off the field matter. I don't see how a player that worked as hard as he did, who put up the numbers he did can be left out of the Hall of Fame forever. I doubt it will be during his lifetime though.

how do you not let Rose in then? Its far more EVIL of a player to play with a corked bat or take steroids to ultimatley achieve better STATS and improve his play, Pete played steroid free and was the best pure hitter of all time, he doesnt get in, bonds and mcgwire have no chance.

pete rose should have been inducted like 20 years ago, nothing will change in the future if it hasnt by now.

Sosa doesn't get in because it was proven. Rose wasn't let in (even though I don't agree with it) because it was proven that he gambled.
Bonds and McGwire are just surrounded by rumors and educated guesses. You can't keep someone out of the HOF for speculations IMO.

What is a true Ace, A true ace can be one of the following, a bonifide highest card in a deck of 52 playing cards, the lead wing man of an air force squadron or the Pitcher you put first on your list to send out to battle when your team needs him the most. What makes a true Ace? It takes dedication, knowledge, will power, endurance, heart and pure ability to be the "top gun" when it all comes down to it. There isnt many true aces out there, anyone can be labeled an "Ace" on a team that doesnt know pitching from a hole in the ground, it takes more then a label to be the heart of your staff. You have to have the determination, grit and raw ability to be branded as an "ace" and you really have to be a tool, a real study of the game, soaking in anything around you to help you get and rise to the next level. This with the leadership, the persona you bring to the clubhouse and how your arm talks the talk on the mound is how you judge a true ace. Any true aces out there? not many - if i were to name a few, Roger Clemens, Roy Halladay, Mike Mussina and John Smoltz to name a few...the definition of an ace? the Ability to be the go to guy when your team needs you the most, and the ability to succeed and achieve all that is asked of you as a player.
