Why would you put all of the talent into one division?
How fun would it be to watch a division with all of the worst teams? Sure, a very good team from that stacked division would go to the playoffs. But the team that comes from the bad division would get killed year after year. How is that fun for fans?
It's not worth changing now. If it is changed at all, you'd make the divisions as equal as possible talent-wise. You wouldn't make one division as good as possible.

how fun is it? how fun would it be for the team that never gets to the playoffs actually getting a chance? how would their fans feel to see their team actually make it? it wouldnt be by default either, you still have to beat 4 other teams to make it to the top - mix and match then, put the the swap teh phillies with the orioles

Yeah, but it would suck to watch the Yankees play teams like the Marlins or Blue Jays too, because they would suck.
Wouldn't you like to see the Mets play the Cardinals, the Dodgers play the Phillies? Wouldn't that be better than the Nationals playing the Phillies, and the Reds playing the Mets?
You want the divisions to be equal across the board, not spread out into talent.
The AL is already stronger than the NL, but if the divisions are mixed up like that, who decides which league gets the good division?

how competitive would the games be with the braves yankees and mets all in the same divison, that would be some awesome baseball seeing those teams play each other often, and more of a rivalry i would like to see every couple weeks would be the "subway series" fans would love that, it would light a fire under new york baseball, it will be big for the game in every aspect.

wasnt the brewers already part of the american league? whyd they move? If they can move any team can move! Ok time for me to jump in the arguement. I think the reason why we have uneven # of teams in each league is because if we try to even it, it'll be 15 teams on each side (an odd number). If that happen who is the Yankees going to play against in April if the other 14 AL teams are playing against each other?

saying the jays and marlins suck is horrible, they are my two favorite teams, 2 teams that will make a serious move this year, there talent is at a high level and they have what it takes to get it done without spending a new york billion

Teams like the Cubs and Red Sox (historically, not the past five years) always sucked. But it's not like they didn't have fans. It's not always about having a fair shot. It would be much easier (and likely) to put a salary cap on franchises instead of moving teams. That way teams like the Cubs can't spend 300 million during the offseason, and it gives teams like the Pirates a chance when they can't spend that kind of money.
That's how you give teams a chance.

I'm sure the reason why WS rating is dropping because people are not familiar with the teams that made the playoff so they rather change the channel.

i say we EXPAND, add another team, put them in a divison where they will not get rocked right off the bat like waht happened to the d-rays, you do this and you can easily move the a team to fill out another division, i would say put the Giants in the AL west, its so logical, and yet you still get a rivalry like the subway series, the golden gate series, giants and a's, that wouldnt be to tough of a transition i dont think

I wouldn't want to watch the Yankees or Mets smash the Jays or Marlins in the World Series (I think they would). If you divide the talent by putting great teams together and average teams together, it would be like two different levels of baseball. People would call the great league "Major League Baseball." They would call they other league something like "AAAA baseball." The other league would be a joke. It would turn into a joke during the World Series.

You can't compare what a team did years ago to what they can do now.
Do you really think the Marlins would do well against the Yankees if they played the World Series right now?
The Royals won the World Series once, so did the Pirates. Does that mean that they are any good now? You are clueless.
